Description

BEA - Aremos Software License Acquisition Plan The objective is to continually seek to improve the timeliness, accuracy, and comprehensiveness of BEA’s economic accounts data; in part, by upgrading data architectures and standard platforms on an ongoing, incremental basis. This is accomplished by using the FAME software which is the data structure/software standard for BEA’s time series data. AREMOS is the legacy standard for BEA’s time series data and will be used concurrently with FAME until migration is completed which is targeted for 2015. This acquisition is for the purchase AREMOS software. AREMOS is an off the shelf proprietary computer software package, wholly owned by IHS Global Insight (USA), Inc., 24 Hartwell Avenue, Lexington, MA 02421. The licenses will be acquired through a firm fixed price for the initial base period and four (4) optional periods to IHS Global Insight (USA), Inc. The award will be a sole source.
