- DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Provide support to the PM Family of Special Operations Vehicles (PM FOSOV) and the HQ USASOC Testing and Evaluation Division (TED) team. This support includes facility and terrain navigation assistance. Perform Integration Testing (IT) and Operational Testing (OT) on five SRATS vehicles in accordance with the SRATS Test Plan. The Specialized Reconnaissance Assault Transport System (SRATS) is a special operations-peculiar off-road motor vehicle that combines traits of a sand rail and a rock crawler with those of a high-speed utility vehicle. SRATS, Inc., through its sub-contractor Demmer Corporation, is the sole manufacture of this vehicle. The design, manufacture, and operational parameters of these vehicles is data that remains proprietary and in the hands of SRATS, Inc. IT shall be performed for the purpose of obtaining a Safety Release. Prior to the start of OT, New Equipment Training (NET) will be conducted for the test operators. OT shall be performed for the purpose of obtaining a Safety Confirmation. Additional testing may be required to establish vehicle performance characteristics. All tests require submission of a comprehensive test report plus raw data obtained during or in conjunction with the testing. Testing required to obtain a Safety Release shall be documented by a formal report within one week of the completion of the testing. The contractor shall provide all sensors installed on the tactical vehicles for both integration and operational tests. These devices will be used to determine grade, elevation, travel speed and distance travelled for each vehicle. As appropriate and when specified by test criteria, sensors will be provided to measure engine coolant, engine oil, transmission fluid, transfer case fluid, and differential fluid temperatures. The government will The following facilities are required: Maintenance facility, briefing room, arms room, and motor pool. The motor pool shall be in a secured location and able to store at a minimum four (4) tactical vehicles. This motor pool should have 24 hour access for the HQ USASOC test team. The contractor shall assist the test team with all assigned tactical mountainous routes. This location shall have the ability to drive on and off road with limited restrictions at various elevations.
