Description
The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) located in Arlington, VA, is seeking eligible sources capable of completing work as described below. The Contractor shall provide the following sample analyses for the Harding Landfill, listed in Attachment 1:"Six water samples for Cd, Pb, Zn (plus 1 set of MS/MSD at one location)"Three sediment samples for Cd, Pb, Zn (plus 1 set of MS/MSD at one location) The Contractor shall provide the following sample analyses for the OU-3 Dump, listed in Attachment 2:"Six water samples for TAL metals and asbestos (plus 1 set of MS/MSD at one location) "TAL metals analysis for water samples must be conducted using EPA Method 200.8"Four sediment samples for TAL metals, Semi-VOAs, asbestos, TOC, and % solids (plus 1 set of MS/MSD at one location) All analyses must comply with applicable New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines. The Contractor shall supply and deliver all sample containers to the GSNWR within one week of telephone notification, anticipated to be no later than the first week in June of each year of the agreement. A statement of sample volume needs for each analysis shall accompany sample containers at delivery. The Contractor shall pick up samples from the GSNWR within 48 hours of telephone notification that the samples are ready. Pick-up is anticipated to be no later than the last week in June of each year of the agreement. The Contractor shall submit NJDEP-compliant electronic data, hardcopy data, and electronic summaries of the data in Microsoft Excel format to the Government within 60 days of sample pickup. The services provided under this BPA shall not be limited to the types described above in greater detail. The USFWS may order any other laboratory services depending on the need and ability of the company to perform other laboratory services. Location of WorkThe Contractor shall deliver bottles and pick up samples from the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, 152 Pleasant Plains Road, Basking Ridge NJ 07920. Laboratory analyses shall be performed at the Contractor's facility. A Blanket Purchase agreement will be awarder to the best value respondent for five years with a total five-year threshold of $100,000.00. Small Business NAICS code 541380 size standard $12M.THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A request for proposal will be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov March 19, 2009.
