Description
DHS requires an automated instrument for performing hematology profiles on animal whole blood specimens. •The instrument must be capable of utilizing a 20 microliter (or smaller) sample size •The instrument must be able to perform a complete blood count with 5 part differential on cows/swine/sheep/horses • At a minimum, tests that the instrument is capable of performing shall include: oLeukocytes – white cell count, neutrophil percent and number, lymphocyte percent and number, moncyte percent and number, eosinophil percent and number, and basophil percent and number; oErythrocytes – red cell count, hemoglobin, hemacrit, mean cell volume, mean corpuscular hemoglobin, mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration, red cell distribution width, red cell standard deviation, and nucleated red blood cell alarm for percent and number; and oThombocytes – platelet count and meant platelet volume. •The instrument must flag results outside of the normal range and abnormal conditions •The instrument shall have a closed system for testing •The instrument shall have built in QC features •The instrument shall be able interface with Excel and store data in.xls format on a host computer •The Vendor shall include an interface port and interface specifications with the instrument •The instrument shall be able to store data for 50 specimens •Installation, training onsite at PIADC, and a standard commercial warranty (including parts, service) are to be included •All quotes are to be FOB Destination to PIADC •Delivery is required within 30 days of award. Pursuant to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794d) as amended by P.L.105-220, under Title IV (Rehabilitation Act Amendments of 1998) all Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) developed, procured, maintained and/or used under this contract shall be in compliance with the “Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards” set forth by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board (also referred to as the “Access Board”) in 36 CFR Part 1194. To register with ORCA, vendors must have a DUNS Number from Dunn and Bradstreet (http://www.dnb.com/us) and be actively registered with Central Contracting Registration (http://www.ccr.gov) (4) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; and (5) FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders--Commercial Items.
