Description

NEW CONSTRUCTION FOR THE U. S. GOVERNMENT The General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking expressions of interest for a Development Team to design, construct and maintain an office building under a long-term lease arrangement: Location: The Government’s intent is to transfer an assignable site option to purchase a pre-selected site to the successful Offeror as part of a lease agreement. The site is 3.0 acres and is located at 98 W. 1st Street, Yuma, Arizona 85366. Square Footage Requirement: The successful Offeror will construct an office building for lease by the Government. The site will encompass a building of approx. 46,000 rentable square feet and yielding 38,050 ANSI/BOMA Office Area and related space meeting US Government specifications. The site configuration will require a 50-foot perimeter setback with 30 structured parking spaces, as well as additional surface parking spaces to meet the code requirement. Building: This solicitation will be conducted as a two-stage leasing procurement. This program stresses a balance of price with design creativity and quality. Term: Term of the lease will be for fifteen (15) years firm, as determined by the Government through negotiations. Occupancy is required by September 1, 2011.
