- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9124V-09-T-0002 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The NAICS code is 443112 and the size standard is less than $9.0 MIL. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect though Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-30, Effective 17 Feb 2009. The proposed contract is 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. The acquisition is a firm fixed priced purchase order in support of the Montana Army National Guards J6. The J6 currently has a cable-headed setup for cable TV distribution with a system to distribute our COMMAND Channel, a channel on our cable system that display general information like you see in hotels, on through our network fiber runs to reach of the Fort Harrison buildings listed below. We have also installed an IP based cable TV distribution system, VBRICK. Our intent is to spread the COMMAND Channel to various location around Fort Harrison over Cable TV RG-6 and to remote sites over IP. The government is looking for a proposal to install the needed cabling, Network, RG-6 and electrical, and equipment to include the TV, Monitors, mounts and receivers for this project. The items intended for purchase: Locations for RG-6 connected TVs 12 EA 46 Inch TV WITH MOUNT INSTALLED, CABLED RG-6 AND POWER RAN TO EACH LOCATION FOR THE NEAREST CABLE LOCATION There will be a drop in each bldg to run the Monitor from. (Request (via email) the Statement of Work for all Addresss where the instillation will take place). 6 EA 46 Inch MONITOR WITH MOUNT AND IP RECEIVER AND WIRING POWER AND NETWORK to each of the locations listed in the Statement of work. The vendor shall provide all the wire to run from the TV/Monitor to cable distribution box. Please provide technical specification, warranty information, and discount information if a quantity discount applies. The provision of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (Feb 2009) applies to this RFQ. 52.212-3, the clause needs to be completed and a signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with any offer. 52.212-2, Evaluation, Commercial Items (Jan 1999). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, Past Performance and Technical Capability. Past performance and technical capability, when combined, are equal when compared to price or cost.
