Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This requirement is set-aside for small business. Request for Proposals (RFP) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-30 dated 17 February 2009 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 edition, current to DCN 20090115. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 337211 with a size standard of 500 employees. All prospective bidders must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register online at https://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. The proposal shall provide bids on Martin Furniture to include SETUP & DELIVERY on an undetermined date on April 24, 2009 or after. Items needed are included in the following CLINs: CLIN 0001) 3 each Martin U-desk contemporary style oak workstation / desk right-handed model # 0068R with return # 00686R-R and credenza # 00686R-C, CLIN 0002) 3 each Martin U-desk contemporary style oak workstation / desk left-handed model # 0068L with return # 00686L-R and credenza # 00686L-C, CLIN 0003) 6 each Deluxe hutch contemporary-style oak for U or L-desk, model # 00880, and CLIN 0004) 10 each Martin 4-drawer file cabinet contemporary-style oak file cabinet, locking top drawer, model # 00204. All furniture must be well-made construction, color in medium oak, smooth finish, and flat edges. All proposals shall be clearly marked with RFP # W81R8T90600601 and emailed to the contact below or sent by facsimile to 928-328-6849 no later than 8:00 AM MST, March 25, 2009. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the proposal will be the most advantageous to the Government based on delivery, setup and price. The delivery will be on April 24, 2009 or after, depending on the physical requirement of the customer. The following FAR Clauses and Provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (Jun 2008). FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (Oct 2008) and specifically addendum 52.247-34 FOB Destination (Nov 1991). FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statues or Executive Order Commercial Items (Feb 2009) apply to this acquisition. Specific clauses cited in FAR 52.212-5 that are applicable to this acquisition are 52.219-28 Post-Award Small Business Program Representation (June 2007), 52.222-3 Convict Labor (Jun 2003), 52.222-19 Child Labor Cooperation with Authorities and Remedies (Feb 2008), 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities (Feb 1999), 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity (Mar 2007), 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (Jun 1998), 52.222-50 Combating Trafficking in Persons (Feb 2009), 52.232-36 Payment by Third Party (May 1999).
