- The purpose of this Amendment is to provide answers to questions from potential offeror(s): 1. Question: In Section C.3.2 of the Statement of Work, ASTM Standards: ASTM D5529 is not listed in ASTM as either an existing nor withdrawn standard. Is this ASTM an incorrect ASTM? Answer: ASTM D5529 is incorrect, should read ASTM D5229/D5229M (92)2004, Standard Test Method for Moisture Absorption Properties and Equilibrium Conditioning of Polymer Matrix Composite Materials. 2. Question: Would the Technical POC be more interested in V-Notch shear, which will show both the effects of conditioning, and provide design value data? Could the V-Notch shear, for the nu12 and nu21 directions be of more value than the D 3518 +45 test? Answer: No, must be Short Beam Shear test as stated in the Statement of Work. 3. Question: Can we obtain the lay-ups for the four plates? Answer: The lay-up is a 0/90, 8 plies of a 24 oz/yd2 S2-glass fabric.
