- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Panama City Division intends to award a contract on a Sole Source basis to PCB Piezotronics INC. for, 10 each, Pressure Transducers and for, 1000 each, Polyurethane Cables. The basis for the Sole source is because the transducers and polyurethane cable manufactured by PCB Piezotronics Inc. are being ordered due to their smaller range of pressure which more closely mirrors the values seen on the LCAC. Also, the transducers have an accuracy of.23% Full Scale, which is a level of accuracy not found in devices by other vendors. Delivery will be to NSWC PCD/CO NSAPC 101 Vernon Avenue Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7001. Anticipated award date will be on or about 10 April 2009.
