- Description
- On or about 13 April 2009, the U.S. Geological Survey will release competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) 09WRSS0014, in accordance with (IAW) the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, to establish a single-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for Multilevel Monitoring Systems (MLMS), including components, software, and installation at the Idaho National Laboratory, just outside Idaho Falls, ID. The contract will have an ordering ceiling not-to-exceed $500,000.00 during the ordering period of five (5) years, with an initial order of at least $50,000.00 anticipated concurrent with contract award. The RFP will be unrestricted under NAICS code 334513, entitled "Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables," corresponding index entry "Water quality monitoring and control systems manufacturing," for which the size standard is 500 employees. To be competitive, the MLMS must be capable of borehole depths that exceed 1,200 feet and depth to water that can exceed 600 feet. A detailed set of minimum specifications and source selection criteria will be released with the RFP.
