- Description
- The Federal Government is interested in leasing office and related space consisting of approximately 31,306 square feet of rentable space, yielding a minimum of 27,070 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet to a maximum of 29,777 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet, near Des Plaines, Illinois, available for use by Military Entrance Processing (MEPS) for personnel, furnishings and equipment. Offered properties must be within the delineated geographical area as follows: North: Central Road, South: Irving Park Road, East: Cumberland Avenue-Touhy Avenue-Greenwood Avenue, West: Arlington Heights Road. All buildings and/or sites MUST be able to have a minimum 148ft setback (45 meters) from the building to the nearest parking per DOD security standards. NO BUILDING OR SITE will be considered that cannot meet this requirement. Onsite parking for 63 vehicles and additional 83 parking spots within three blocks of the site. The procurement will utilize source selection procedures. Other requirement include: •Located on a primary or major secondary street •Nearby public transportation •In close proximity to hotels/motels and restaurants •Must be contiguous on one floor •Cannot be located in building where alcoholic beverages are served •Cannot be located in airport flight paths Lease Term/Occupancy: Twenty (20) years, fifteen (15) firm. The Government reserves the right to amend the delineated area and the terms of the lease. Expressions of interest shall include the following: -Building name, address, associated literature with floor plans demonstrating ability to achieve the setback to parking; - Site location, site size, site plans, aerial photos, pictures, etc. Proof of land control required for consideration of award. Proposals from brokers or agents must be accompanied by evidence of their authorization to represent the ownership.
