Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912EQ-09-Q-0020 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 324110 with 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or electronically, either through regular mail, email, or by facsimile. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offerors responsibility to ensure receipt of quotes by the time and date stated herein. Contractors shall submit a lump sum quotation to include all charges. SECTION A DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/WORK STATEMENT A-1.Scope - The work to be done under these specifications consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials, and performing all operations in connection with the delivery of 8,000 gallons of #2 Off Road Diesel Fuel (low sulfur content)by truck to the Bayou Bienvenue Control Structure on the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet (MRGO). SECTION B DELIVERIES B-1.Deliveries Quick turnaround is necessary in order for the Government to fulfill mission requirements. Therefore, the items to be supplied under this purchase order shall be delivered to the job site within three (3) days of award. Prior to shipment, the Contractor shall coordinate delivery with the following personnel to ensure someone is present to provide directions and access if necessary.
