- Bill of Materials Justification and Approval for Brand Name Only This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PR20045265 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-30-Correction. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This requirement is being set-aside as a SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334119 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This acquisition is being conducted on a brand name only basis. See attached justification. This procurement is for the following line BRAND NAME ONLY items: Line Item 00010: Shunra STA Network Appliance in accordance with attached Bill of Materials; quantity 1/each Line Item 00020: Shunra STN Network Appliance in accordance with attached Bill of Materials; quantity 2/each Delivery is required FOB Destination 10 days after receipt of order. The basis of award under this solicitation will be lowest-price, technically acceptable. Quoters shall provide completed copies of FAR 52.212-3 or their Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) record. ORCA is located at http://orca.bpn.gov. All responsible service-disabled, veteran-owned small business sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency.
