The government seeks information identifying which compressor manufacturers offer two stage, built-in variable speed drive (VFD), centrifugal compressors with a magnetic bearing system. Identify if the compressor has the capacity to eliminate or reduce in-rush current at start-up. Identify if the compressor includes a microprocessor controller capable of controlling magnetic bearings and speed control. Provide information that identifies the interchangeability of the compressor with various manufacturer chillers, including chiller manufacturer brand names. Identify the cost of the compressor and the percentage by which energy consumption is reduced over the use of traditional compressors. Provide graph of energy usage from 0% to 100% speed or production output.Include a statement indicating whether the compressor is currently available in the market or when it will become available in the market.
