- PRESOLICITATION SYNOPSIS - The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQ-10703-073-09 for the provision of Phlebotomist services to be performed at the Federal Correctional Institution located at Cumberland, MD. The services will be performed in the Health Services Department for the inmate population. It is estimated that the contract will require 30 sessions (a session being 1 hour in duration) to be performed weekly, normally between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. The estimated total amount of sessions required per contract year will be 1,560. The contract period shall consist of one 12 month base year and 4 twelve month option periods for renewal. The applicable North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621399, with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The solicitation will be available on or about April 1, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated deadline for receipt of quotes is May 1, 2009.
