- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services contemplates issuing a solicitation using Full and Open Competition procedures and award of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the construction of Viewing Platforms at Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge. NAICS CODE 236220, Size Standard: $31 Million.The work requires the successful offeror to construct two 10' x 12' wildlife viewing platforms and associated handicap accessible boardwalks at Dennis Creek and the Loop Road locations at the Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge, 16450 NW 31st Place, Chiefland, Florida, 32626. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service is presently using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Requests for Quotations and award Purchase Orders. You must register in EC at website http://www.ccr.gov. If you have any registration questions, please call 1-886-705-5711. Once registered, solicitations may be viewed online at either http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http://www.ideasec.nbc.gov. For questions at the Department of Interior (EC) site, please call the help desk at (703) 390-6633. This will be the only means of obtaining the solicitation/award. All prospective offerors with access to the internet and an e-mail address can receive electronic notifications of solicitations and awards: CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments there to. Thus, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidders' mailing list. It is, therefore, incumbent upon any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them by the date and time set for receipt of proposals/quotes or amendments thereto, may render the offeror non-responsive and result in the rejection of the offer. All prospective contractors are required to submit or upload their organization Representations and Certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov prior to submitting an offer. Failure to do so will render offers non-responsive. Telephone requests for solicitations/amendments will not be accepted. All quotes must be received at this office not later than the date and time specified in the solicitation or any amendments thereto.
