Description
This announcement is open to all offerors. The NAIC code for this procurement is 238990. The FAA, Eastern Logistics Service Area, New England Region, currently has a requirement for a Fire/Life/Safety upgrade at the Air Traffic Control Tower located at Lehigh Valley International Airport in Allentown, PA. The work will consist of, but is not limited to, the following: fire alarm control panel wiring - removing existing fire alarm accessories - providing and installing new smoke detectors - providing and installing new fire resistant methods - providing and installing a new relief bypass damper - providing and installing new pull stations - providing and installing new horns and strobes - miscellaneous painting - providing and installing new range hood - cleaning and restoring site to its original condition upon completion of work. Performance Period is ninety (90) calendar days. Estimated price range is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. Solicitation packages will be available on or about the week of April 6, 2009. Contractor must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the modification/renovation of Fire/Life/Safety upgrades of municipal buildings, or FAA facilities or buildings of similar complexity as stated. There is a $100.00 non-refundable fee required for this solicitation package. All checks must be made payable to the Federal Aviation Administration. All requests for the solicitation package must be in writing, include a check, and addressed to the attention of Maureen Gross, ASO-52ne, Federal Aviation Administration, 12 New England Executive Park, Burlington, MA 01803.
