This requirement is for the repair/overhaul of the 3rd Stage Turbine Air Sealing Ring (USAF and FMS) applicable to the F100-PW-229. The government contemplates awarding a firm fixed price requirements type contract for a one (1) year basic contract period with four (4) one (1) year option periods. The contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, facilities and test equipment to accomplish repair. The repair consists of returning to the government in a completely serviceable condition in accordance with the provisions listed in Work Specifications Identified in Appendix "A", Appendix "B" and Appendix "C" of the contract. The line items are listed as follows: 0001 and 0002, 3rd Stage, Input: 2840-01-450-9977NZ, P/N 4083239-01 and/or 2840-01-318-4803NZ, P/N 4064232, Output: 2840-01-450-9977NZ, P/N 4083239-01 Basic Year and all Option year BEQ's: (USAF) 72 each per yr, (FMS) 7 each per year. Line Item 0003 qty 1 lot, Data Item. Delivery: USAF and FMS, 6 each per month starting 60 days after receipt of order and reparable. The approximate solicitation issue date is 8 Apr 09 and the estimated solicitation response date is 8 May 09. The anticipated award date is 31 Jul 09. Delivery Location: Tinker AFB OK or TBD as specified on each individual order. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation through the FEDBIZOPS website. THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT REQUIRED TO DELAY CONTRACT AWARD TO REVIEW PENDING SOURCE APPROVAL REQUESTS (SARs). NOTE: An ombusdman has been appointed to hear concerns from offferors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
