Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) anticipates a contract to purchase 57 inch Rack Mounted Flat Panel Displays for shipboard use. These rack mountable displays must be Grade B Shock Qualified in accordance with MIL-S-901D specifications. Each display shall have an accompanied Bulkhead mounting bracket. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334119. All eligible firms must be capable of providing displays that meet MIL-S-901D, Grade B, Class I, Type A, that can be verified with NAVSEA 05P (Ship Survivability and Structural Integrity). Verification by NAVSEA 05P of similar monitors or of monitors that are not specifically requested in this notice will not be acceptable. The anticipated ordering period(s) will span one (1) year and include two (2) one-year option period(s) beginning May 2009. A Firm Fixed Price IDIQ/contract is anticipated. It is anticipated that the Request F! or Quote (RFQ) will be issued in April 2009. The required delivery period of four panels per ship is 30 days after receipt of order. It is requested that all interested concerns respond with a Capability Statement of a maximum of four (4) pages to be used to determine their capability to meet this requirement. Responses should include: a) The name and address of the contractor and where the display units will be built; b)Point of contact including name, title, phone and e-mail address; c) A description of the product offered that currently meets the specifications listed; d) An estimated unit price; e) A notional schedule for manufacturing and delivery of the display units, and f) Whether the business is currently classified as Large, Small, and socio-economic category (if applicable). Product submitted for consideration shall meet the requirements specified below: 1.Must meet Shock per MIL-S-901D, Grade B, Type A, Class II2.Must meet Vibration requirements per MIL-STD-167-1, Type I3.0 to 50 degree C operating range4.Front controls with full dimming5.1 BNC Composite Video, HD15, DVI and S- video support6.100-120 VAC/220-240 VAC7.1920 x 1080 HDTV resolution (Native), Compatible with resolutions up to 1280 x 10248.Wide Viewing Angle 85 (Vertical & Horizontal)9.Chassis Connector IEC 32010.Cable Connector: NEMA 5-15 P11.There is a mandatory requirement to provide the Government with Proof of Equipment Certification which verifies the test results for shock, vibration and EMI have been accepted and certified by Ship Survivability and Structural Integrity (NAVSEA 05P).
