Description
RECOVERY ACT - The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. Work includes routing, crack sealing, placement of backer rod where needed, repairs of potholes and chip sealing at 15 Missile Alert Facilities. Two sites require placement of plant mix pavement on the access roads. At all 15 sites, placement of a 35' long by 15' wide by 6 inch reinforced concrete slab is required. The Performance Period for this project is 240 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The anticipated magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00This Request For Proposal will be available on or about 10 April 2009. The Request For Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. The Notice to Proceed may be issued within 10 days after award. Winter exclusion period will take effect from 1November 2009 through 1 April 2010. However, no chip sealing operations will be allowed between 1 September and 30 May. This acquisition is open to both large and small businesses in accordance with FAR 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Potential offerors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: http://www.ccr.gov). Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration. Potential contractors must also be currently registered with ORCA. (See Internet Site: http://orca.bpn.gov/).
