Description
You are invited to submit a proposal in accordance with therequirements of RFP DE-RP06-09RL15009 entitled Workers Compensation Claims Services for the Hanford Site. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Richland Operations Office (RL), intends on awarding a services contract to a third party administrator who will be responsible for all aspects of the Hanford Site Workers Compensation Program. The government anticipates the award of a fixed unit price contract with an award fee component focused on contractor customer service, innovation and overall excellence. The contract will have a period of performance not to exceed five years consisting of a two year base period and three one-year option periods. Your proposal must be received electronically no later than 12:00 PM, Pacific Time, April 27th, 2009, via DOEs Industry Interactive Procurement System (IIPS). The Governments target date for contract award is July 31st, 2009. The contract transition period is expected to begin on August 1st, 2009, and conclude by September 30th, 2009. The contract base period will begin on October 1st, 2009, and conclude on September 30th, 2011. This solicitation was previously synopsized under announcement DE-RP06-08RL15009. Interested parties are reminded that all current and prospective contractors of the federal government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to receive an award. Registration information is available at http://www.ccr.gov. Please see the attached the attached RFP documents for further information.
