- Notice of Intent - Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, Grand Junction, Colorado, intends to award sole source commercial purchase order in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. This notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31, 19 Mar 2009. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 333314 and the business size standard is 500 employees The government has determined that Olympus America Inc is the only source that can satisfy this agencies requirement. The requirement is to purchase Olympus Endoscope system that delivers both high definition and narrow band imaging technologies. This system works in conjunction with existing Olympus equipment and is JACHO compliance facilitated. All responsible sources may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by VA Medical Center Contracting Office, Grand Junction. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Any company that feels they have items that meet the needs of the Government must submit their technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim to Contracting Office, 2121 North Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501-6428, no later than 1 PM (Mountain Time) on March 30, 2008. The information must explain the company's ability to overcome the restrictions of proprietary information and patent rights. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis.
