- Description
- The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a purchase order to CETAC Technologies, 14306 Industrial Road, Omaha, NE 88144. The authority for this sole source is FAR Part 6.302-1. The contractor shall provide to CDC a AR2-99-0001A Aridus II, PFA, S.C., 110 volt. Low Flow Inert Sample Introduction System for ICP-MS. Consists of single unit instrument module, electronic module and desolvating membrane. Justification for other than full and open competition is because this system is a specialized desolvating-nebulizer for inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry, which couples a low flow PFA nebulizer and spray chamber with a fluoropolymer membrane for maximum chemical resistance that includes but is not limited to organics and hydrogen fluoride (HF). Firms that believe they can provide these services/supplies are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notice to the Contract Specialist prior to the response date found in this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action will be based on responses to this notice and are solely within the discretion of the U.S. Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
