- SIGNED RADIO FREQUENCY J & A RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION SOLICITATION UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Central Office, Washington, DC intends to issue solicitation CG-343-09 for support and services for Radio Frequency Identification (RFID Applications), with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries currently have approved existing network connections for similar service from The Department of Justice and Department of Defense. The services will be provided within a secure correctional environment, located at multiple UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries locations. This is a one-year requirement type contract. The application shall be Department of Defense (DOD) RFID Compliance, complete process based solution package for DOD Suppliers, fully automating US Department of Defense Mil-Std 129P. All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541519.
