Description
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends on entering into a sole source procurement with CHEMSW, Inc. of Fairfield, CA under the authority of FAR Subsection 13.106-1(b) for approximately 15 additional licenses for CISPro Global Chemical Inventory System to expand the use of the existing CHEMSW CISPro Global licenses. CHEMSW is the publisher of CISPro, a registered solution, which is a high-performance, relational database system that delivers all the necessary tools to accurately track chemicals and supplies and meets safety and regulatory requirements, including bar code labeling, remote inventory control, document linking and links to Material Safety Data Sheets. An unlimited number of material classes can be tracked, including reference standards, with multiple security layers. Materials can easily be designated as Good Manufacturing Practices or lab use only, and inventories for individual business units can be maintained independently, within a single global database. The system interface can be adjusted based on custom logins, allowing the NIST to specify what data each individual can access. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded. No RFQ package is available. Any interested party may submit, in writing, their capability statement to respond to this requirement by 1:00pm Eastern Time, April 9, 2009. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes.
