- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS LISTED BELOW. In anticipation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the subject project(s) are competed against a group of Smithsonian Institution's existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts. Project Description : This procurement is for Replacement of Five (5) Medium Voltage Interrupter Selector Switches and Seven (7) Transformers in Six (6) Buildings located at the Smithsonian Institution's National Zoological Park, Washington, DC. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 and the annual size standard is $33.5 million. The Smithsonian Institution intends to award a firm fixed price construction contract from this solicitation to the offeror whose price is most advantageous. The estimated value of this project is between $500,000 to $2,000,000. Davis Bacon Wage Determinations in effect for Washington, DC, are applicable.
