- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to solicit quotes from educational institutions for the provision of Advanced Occupational Education courses and instruction for the completion of Associate Degrees; Vocation Training Programs (Sewing, Small Appliance Repair, Horticulture, and /or Computer Technology; and a variety of supplemental education courses. Services are to be rendered onsite at the United States Penitentiary Hazelton located in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia. Anticipated enrollment in the program will be approximately 20-25 male inmate students per class. This solicitation should result in the offer of a contract award that will consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. Annual estimated requirements are eight Associate Degree program courses and Vocational Training courses per year, four certificate programs per year, and 55 hours of instruction in supplemental education course work per year. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 27, 2009 and will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is April 22, 2009. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
