- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE SEWER LINES ALTUS AFB, OK. A sewer repair project for Altus AFB OK, firm fixed price contract will be awarded from the solicitation resulting from this synopsis. The work to be performed under the terms of this contract consist of furnishing all plant, labor, tools, transportation, travel, equipment, materials, and any other incidentals necessary to construct new, repair and replace Industrial Area Sewer on Altus Air Force Base (AAFB) complete and in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work may include any or all of the following, but not limited to site preparation, installation of 15-inch PVC gravity sewer; 10-inch PVC gravity sewer; 8-inch PVC gravity sewer; 4-inch PVC gravity sewer; manholes; connection to existing manhole; handling of flows during construction; trench safety; removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, traffic control; pollution abatement; demolition of abandoned sewers; seeding and miscellaneous items as more fully described in the Drawings and the summary of Work which will be issued with the Request for Proposal. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 237110. The solicitation is a HubZone Set Aside. The estimated magnitude for this project will be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation package will be issued in the form of a Request for Proposal (RFP) and will be made available for downloading via the Internet Electronic Posting Site, http://www.fedbizopps.gov on approximately 15 April 2009. Prospective contractors must be registered in the dept of defense (DoD) central contractor registration (CCR) database prior to award of this, or any government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD CCR database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a duns number. It is highly recommended that all prospective offerors register immediately to ensure eligibility for award.
