- THE U.S. NAVY'S Naval Inventory Control Point-Mechanicsburg intends to award a sole source award to A & J Manufacturing Company, 14831 Franklin Avenue, Tustin, CA 92780-7217, based on the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The Naval Inventory Control Point-Mechanicsburg has only one known source for this procurement that is in the government's best interest. If there are any other potential sources, submit your capability statement via email to david.setters@navy.mil no later than 12 noon EST, 31 March 2009. The determination not to compete this requirement is at the discretion of the Contracting Officer in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) and 13.5. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334119. The following item is being procured: 18 each, Medium Duty Equipment Rack Part number 72-D3-1002 IAW A&J proprietary drawings, 72"H x 36"D x 22.31"W Consists of: Top Panel, Bottom Panel, Front Retma Rails, Rear Back-up Bars; Light gray color number 26307 This requirement is in support of the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Center (SPAWAR)-Philadelphia C4ISR Program Office's USCG Deepwater program. The SPAWAR-Phila C4ISR (Command & Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) Programs Office is a hardware manager, integrator and depot support office for specific USCG Deepwater program requirements.
