- The VA Medical Center, Salt Lake City, Utah, in accordance with FAR Part 12, "Acquisition of Commercial Items" and Part 15, "Contracting by Negotiation, has a requirement for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for Interpreting X-rays Services for the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located at 44 Hospital Way, Pocatello, Idaho The successful contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, equipment and facilities to provide interpreting procedures of x-rays. Urgent x-rays will be interpreted immediately upon receipt of the x-ray and the requesting physician notified. High technology/high cost procedures (e.g. MRI, CT and angiography) will not be performed without prior approval from a Veterans Affairs representative. The prospective contract shall be a base year beginning June 1, 2009 through April 30, 2010, with provisions for four one-year options. Solicitations will be available on or about April 10, 2009. Receipt of Offers will be on or about April 24, 2009. The North American Industry Classification System Code for this solicitation is 621512. All prospective offerors desiring to submit proposals in response to any Federal Agency Request for Proposal must obtain a Dun and Bradstreet Number at www.dnb.com. There is no cost to obtain this number. Offerors must also register at the Central Contractor Registration site at www.ccr.gov.
