- Statement of Need Statement of Work SCA Exemption This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z4539071A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-31, effective date Mar 19, 2009; Defense DCN 20090115, effective date 15 Jan, 2009; and AFAC 2009-0318 effective date 18 Mar, 2009. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621511. The business size standard is $13.5MIL. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is Q301. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 8734. Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for laboratory testing in accordance with the attached statement of work and statement of need for the period of 1 May 2009-30 Sep 2009. Please fill in the attached Service Contract Act Exemption and attach to your quote. Also please ensure that a current cage code and tax identification number are provided and that a current ORCA registration, through the ccr.gov website, is completed. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
