Description

CEDAR GROVE, CORNWALL & TELICHPAH TRAIL BRIDGES. This is three (3) separate projects for the replacement of multiple (total 8) (Government-furnished) trail bridges. Cedar Grove portion consist of the removal of three (3) existing structurally deficient log trail bridge superstructures or the remnants of the trail bridges that were damaged during winter of 2007-2008 and were partially removed by Forest Service trail crews. Work will consist of removal of existing bridges, structural excavation, welded wire gabion basket abutments, installation of (Government-furnished) treated timber glue-laminated stringer trail bridges, trail approach improvements, crushed aggregate and other incidental work. Cornwall portion consists of the removal of three (3) existing structurally deficient failed bridge superstructures and grade beams and construction of three (3) new treated timber glue-laminated stringer trail bridges. Work will consist of removal of existing trail bridges, structural excavation, welded wire gabion basket abutments, installation of (Government-furnished) treated timber glue-laminated stringer trail bridges, trail approach improvements and other incidental work. Telichpah portion consists of the removal of two (2) existing structurally deficient log trail bridge superstructures. Work will consist of the removal of the existing trail bridges, structural excavation, welded wire gabion basket abutments, concrete sill, installation of (Government-furnished) timber glue-laminated stringer trail bridges, trail approach improvements, crushed aggregate and other incident work. Estimated Start Work Date is July 15, 2009. Package will be available mid- to late- April, 2009. Price Range: $100,000 - $250,000 Set-aside: Small Business HUB-Zone Set-Aside
