SCA Wage Determination Statement Of Work (SOW) Request for Quote (RFQ) Modification 0001 - The purpose of this modification is to upload the Request for Quote (RFQ) documents and extend the date for submission of offers through 04/14/2009. The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Weather Service (NWS), is in need of a Contractor that can provide all materials, tools, and supervision for the painting of specified interior office spaces at the Weather Forecast Office (WFO) located at 6900 W Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46241. DESCRIPTION: Repair and Paint all areas described below: 1. Front Entrance Vestibule (wall and ceiling). 2. Waiting Area (walls and ceiling, cut to boarder). 3. Corridors (walls and ceilings where drywall exists). 4. Multi-purpose room ceiling and soffits (Island and Book Shelf). 5. Operations area (uncarpeted walls, cut behind systems furniture). 6. Restrooms (all un-tiled wall and ceiling surfaces). 7. Equipment Room. 8. All metal door jams in the subject areas. 9. Administrative Technician Office (All previously painted surfaces). 10. Side Entrance Vestibule (wall and ceiling). 11. Electronic Technicians Shop (Repair stress cracks above hallway door and install a control joint on both sides above the door). 12. Install corner protectors on outside corners of hall 106A. Products: a. General: Provide only materials that are new and of the type and quality consistent with sources such as Benjamin Moore, Pratt and Lambert, and Sherwin Williams. Only products consistent with these sources top of the line paints and primers will be acceptable. b. Interior Paint Schedule: Note: Two Coats of Paint will be typical, as surface has already been painted, but a third coast will be applied as necessary for coverage in all scheduled areas. 1. Lusterless (Flat) emulsion finish: General paint system for walls and ceilings. One (1) coat typical. Eggshell finish latex for all walls. 2. Restrooms: Single coat: Interior semi gloss latex base paint. 3. Door Frames: Single coat: Interior Enamel semi gloss Paint. The performance period for this project will be 60 days for the date the Notice to Proceed is issued. Any business capable of completing this project is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 10 calendar days after publication of this notice. The NAICS code for this action is 238320. This service is being procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition Procedures. The Central Region Acquisitions Division requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
