Description
This proposed contract action is for Technology-Enhanced Courtroom Training for Lawyers and Paralegals for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The NAICS code of this procurement is 611310 and the size standard is $7.0M. In 2007, the College of William and Mary was awarded contract W912CL-07-C-0005, to design and install a technology-enhanced courtroom at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and to develop training courses for lawyer and paralegals that would be utilizing the courtroom. This requirement is a logical follow-on to the original contract, for additional lawyer and paralegal training in the use of the technology-enhanced courtroom in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any contractors who believe they can provide the service and can provide proof of ability to meet the requirements should e-mail or fax their companys capabilities information to the attention of Mary Sue Austin by 12:00 NOON EST, 06 April 2009. Facsimile or e-mail submissions may be provided to the attention of Mary Sue Austin. E-mail: Mary.Austin@us.army.mi. or Fax 210-295-6834.
