Description
NSN 5965-01-544-7577 - HEADSET-MICROPHONE. This notice is to announce that this NSN will be solicited in the near future. This is not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. The Solicitation/Request for Proposal will be forth coming and will be available via the DSCC Website at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The response date referenced above is ESTIMATED. Solicitation Issue date is on or about May 21, 2009 with the Response date on or about June 22, 2009. Note: copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Reference number: SPM7M9-09-X-0003. Approved Source: BOSE CORP. (32108) P/N 308100-0170. The proposed procurement is for an Indefinite Quantity type Contract which contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. The total five (5) estimated quantity is 4,490 each. Various incremental quantities will be solicited from 25 each to 600 each. Delivery will be to various DLA stock locations. Government Inspection and Acceptance will be at Destination. FOB is Destination. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1). While prices may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Adequate data for the evaluation of alternate offers is not available at the procurement agency. The offeror must provide a complete data package including data for the approved and alternate part for evaluation. This is for solicitation purpose only and does not apply for award.
