- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), on behalf of theMultifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) International ProgramOffice (IPO) (JPEOJTRS10), plans to award one or more firm fixed price deliveryorders for an estimated quantity of 61 low rate initial production (LRIP) MIDSJoint Tactical Radio Systems (JTRS). The estimated award datefor these delivery orders is July 2009 and will be based upon a limitedcompetition between the two MIDS JTRS vendors, DLS and ViaSat.
