Description: THIS PROJECT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SBA-CERTIFIED HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS. DUE TO PUBLIC EXIGENCY, ALL INQUIRIES FOR THIS SOLICITATION SHALL BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN 1:00 PM, 21 APRIL 2009. CONTRACTORS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A BID WITHIN FIFTEEN (15) CALENDAR DAYS AFTER THE ISSUE DATE OF THE SOLICITATION. The work consists of repairs to the Saltwater Barrier Tainter Gate Structure, including electrical system and cathodic protection; computerized navigation lock system; boat dock; fish cleaning station, area lighting; outdoor restroom facilities; security fencing; and Big Hog bayou control structure. Estimated completion time is 180 calendar days. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about 14 April 2009. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1 million and $5 million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 million. Plans and specifications will not be available in paper format or on compact disc.
