- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) #F4D3D99082A002. Submit written offers. Oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (www.bpn.gov). This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-25 and DFARS Change Notice 20080513. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 335312 and Size Standard of 1,000 Employees apply to this procurement. CLIN 0001; Brand Name purchase of a KOHLER 80 KW Diesel Generator/Serial Number 80REOZJD 1. This acquisition entails the Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide a (80REOZJD) KOHLER diesel powered generator set, rated for continuous standby duty at 80 KW, 0.8 PF, 100 KVA, 120/208 Volt, 3 Phase, 4 Wire, 60 Hertz, and 1800 RPM. 2. The customer requests that the unit must have a Kohler DEC 3+ controller and a 34" Skid. 3. Installation is not required, the using activity will install the unit. 4. Freight, shipping, and installation charges must be included. 5. Unit is to be delivered FOB destination to 1175 Iceland Ave., Building 8425, Vandenberg AFB, CA 93437. 6. Government requests FOB Destination Quotes only. If you are unable to quote destination please indicate why and annotate the cost for other than FOB Destination.
