- DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard intends to install 230 each recessed equipment tie down anchors. All anchors will be installed in lot BB-347 at the Special Missions Training Center aboard Marine Corp Base Camp Lejeune, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina 28542. Items required to protect expensive equipment from damage during destructive weather and tropical storm force winds up to and including hurricanes. This request is for a complete turn key project. The vendor will be required to provide the tie downs and the installation. Installation will be scheduled with the Facility Management office at the Special Missions Training Center. HOW TO RESPOND: In order to compete for this project, interested parties must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration and submit a Cost Proposal by 12:00 am, ET, April 15,2009. Offerors must submit an original and one copy of the quote to MOHAMED FILALI, USCG Headquarters Support Command, Code A-3, Room B411, 2100 Second St. SW, Washington, DC 20593. Evaluation Criteria: Award based on lowest cost technically acceptable. Primary Point of Contact.: MOE FILALI Contracting Office Address: U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters 2100 Second Street, SW, Room B411 Washington, District of Columbia 20593-0001 Allow Vendors To Add/Remove From Interested Vendors: no Allow Vendors To View Interested Vendors List: no Recovery and Reinvestment Act Action: no Minimum Requirement: -Provide 230 AN5000 boat recessed tie down anchors with workload of 5000# and a breaking strength of 23,500# - Cut 230 square 12 x 12 inch holes thru two to four inches of asphalt surface - Provide 9 in auger to drill into soil minimum of 42in deep - Provide concrete to be poured into holes securing tie down - Place 230 tie downs flush with asphalt into concrete - All clean up, asphalt and soil with be recycled if possible or removed from site by contractor. - Make sure mimimum labor laws are applied for wage determination.
