- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for repair of various components that are part of the Airport Surveillance Radar 11 (ASR-11), Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) System in support of the Primary Surveillance Radar System. Raytheon Systems Canada, Waterloo, Canada, is the original manufacturer of the DASR system. An Indefinite-Delivery/Requirements type contract for six months is contemplated. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with Raytheon Systems Canada, Waterloo, Canada, in accordance with AMS Policy 3.2.2.4. A market survey was conducted in February 13, 2009, with a February 23, 2009 closing date. No responses were received. The results of this survey support our determination to solicitation and negotiate with only one firm. This announcement is for information purposes only, not a request for proposals.
