Description
This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This will be an acquisition under the authority of the test program for commercial items section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Contracting Center, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following items: CLIN 0001 1 each Antenna, AT6026A, 5000 Watt Minimum Imput, Log Periodic CLIN 0002 1 each Tripod, TP1000A, non-metallic for the AT6026A antenna CLIN 0003 1 each Antenna, AT3001, 3000 Watt Maximum Input, 200 volts per meter Capability Amplifier Research Corp. is the sole source supplier of the above mentioned items and is capable of manufacturing and delivering these items in a timely and cost efficient manner. The intended delivery date for the item(s) is June 30, 2009. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Amplifier Research Corp. This firm is the sole developer/manufacturer /distributor of the product. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220 and the Business Size Standard is 750. All responses received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Time, Thursday, April 16, 2009. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
