MTC Terms and Conditions Davis Bacon Wages Construction Bid Packet Heating - Category 15.3.2 ID# 62626 Pre-Bid Conference: Cincinnati Job Corps Center April 9, 2009 @ 2:00 P.M. Bid Closing: May 7, 2009 @ 2:00 P.M. Bid Opening: May 7, 2009 @ 2:30 Remove and Replace Roof Top Heating Unit: Demo: Remove old existing roof top unit and dispose off site. Remove old electric controls and disconnect. Remove old steam line from roof top unit to valve. Remove old condensate line from roof top unit to the tee. New: Provide a 12,500 CFM makeup air unit with a steam coil with a heat input of 800 MBH. Reuse the existing roof curb. Replace electric disconnect and controls. Control shall have a winter/summer switch in the office, Install thermostat in shop by office. Replace steam and condensate lines from the valve and tee to unit. With all required fittings and insulate. Verify all pipe size and other field dimensions. Replace steam line from the existing valve to the new roof unit with schedule 800 black iron pipe. Install all required strainers, valves and fittings and insulate. Replace condensate line from the existing tee to the new roof unit with schedule 80 block iron pipe. Install all required traps, check valves, valves and fittings and insulate. Verify all pipe size and other field dimensions. Any damage to roof shall be repaired by contractor. MTC/Cincinnati Job Corps Center has arranged with Bermans for setting up a crane in their lot for the removal and installation of the roof top unit, "they require 1 week notice".
