Description
Request for Information Values Framework Presentation - Leading the Bureau, Would You Follow You? The Bureau of the Public Debt (BPD) intends to award a sole source procurement to Positive Results (Dr. Jada Daves) for 4-5 four-hour presentations relating to BPD's Values Framework. The Contractor will ensure that the participants understand the key traits within the framework in creating a safe and rewarding work environment for all employees. The Values Framework presentation, entitled Leading the Bureau-Would You Follow You? will be completely custom developed by Dr. Daves based on research and expertise from her published doctoral dissertation and a variety of other articles written on the topics of values framework. This program shall include the following: • Discuss BPD's Vision and Values Framework • Demonstrate values working with all groups of employees • Question how values should be used within their work area • Define how shared values help create strong teams • Advocate non-traditional ways for employees to receive recognition • Create a supportive environment for employees where they enjoy working • Describe characteristics that employees state are important to be a great boss • Identify competencies of exceptional supervisors • Demonstrate listening techniques, which will foster open discussions of ideas • Explain accountability roles of supervisors for these values within the work environment • Commit to the Values Framework by example The number of class participants will be 15-25 per session. The types of trainees attending are supervisors and managers with administrative, program, and technical expertise. Training will take place May 5-8, 2009 on-site in Parkersburg, WV. Qualified contractors must provide the following: 1. The name and location of your company, contact information, and identify your business size (Large Business, Small Business, Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, HubZone, etc.) based on NAICS Code 611430, size standard $7.0m. Please ensure contact information includes the name of the point of contact, email address, and telephone number should the Government have questions regarding individual responses. 2. Whether your services are available through a Government contract vehicle or Open Market. 3. A brief capabilities statement (not to exceed 5 pages) that includes a description of your company's standard line of business, as well as a list of customers your company has recently (within the last 3 years) provided these, or similar, services for. 4. Contractors should provide their DUNS, if applicable. Responses to this request must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. ET on April 7, 2009, and must be submitted electronically to PSB2@bpd.treas.gov to the attention of Geoff Barnes. The following file extensions are not allowable and application materials/data submitted with these extensions cannot be considered:.bat,.cmd,.com,.exe,.pif,.rar,.scr,.vbs,.hta,.cpl, and.zip files. Microsoft Office compatible documents are acceptable. No other information regarding this RFI will be provided at this time. This notice does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that the response is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to any resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice. Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive notification when the solicitation and any amendments are issued and available for downloading. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list. Therefore, we recommend that you monitor the FedBizOpps site for all information relevant to desired acquisitions.
