- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is releasing an Initial SIR for industry comment followed by a final SIR during the third or fourth quarter of the calendar year. The FAA, Air Traffic Organization's (ATO) Implementation Services Group (AJW) requires a contractor to provide services for the National Airspace System (NAS) Implementation Support Contract (NISC III). The FAA anticipates the award of a Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF) contract. The period of performance will be one three year base period plus two four year options, for a total of ten years. Section L1. General Information "All interested contractor entities are invited to participate and are requested to indicate their interest, or submit any issues, questions or concerns, by contacting the FAA NISC Contracting Officer at the following URL address: 9-ATOW-HQ-NISC-III@faa.gov by 2 P.M., EST, May 1, 2009. Section L 3.1 Bidders Conference" The FAA intends to conduct a bidder's conference, in Atlanta Ga. on May 6 & 7 at the Westin Hotel.
