- Description
- The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. This project is for the Repair of Force Protection, Building 780, Malmstrom AFB (Great Falls), Montana. Work consists of the contractor's providing all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control and supervision necessary to: purchase and install two motorized Cable gates with associated electrical services, alter the fresh air intake to the building, repair brick wall to infill hole after removal of fresh air intake, install berm wall around perimeter of building including split-face landscape brick, rearrange lawn sprinklers to accommodate berm wall, relocate trees to accommodate berm wall, install pipe bollards, and alter roof mounted lightning protection system to accommodate new fresh air intake (minor), in accordance with the project specifications, drawings and blueprints. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 17 April 2009. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 18 May 2009. The Performance Period for this project is one hundred and sixty (160) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award of the solicitation. This acquisition is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Request for Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: http://ccr.edi.disa.mil/ccragent/p/sq1/ccr.welcome). All responsible sources may submit an offer good through 12 Aug 2009, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential contractors must also be currently registered with ORCA. (See Internet Site: http://orca.bpn.gov/). The magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
