Vacuum pump is sized to handle up to 10 such chambers. The pump must also be capable of operating in 99% humidity. 4)System control panel/electronics to be transportable 5)System to be modular and expandable to allow for installation of additional chambers. 6)Complete system tested and certified to meet a helium leak rate of 1 x 10-9 cc he/sec 7)The Vacuum chambers must be capable of thermal uniformity of +/-0.2 C while operating in a refrigerated room. 8)Vacuum chambers must be contamination free and a record of the environment certified with a 0-100AMU residual gas analyzer report. 9)The internal and external surfaces of the vacuum chambers must be treated in such a way that they are protected from corrosion associated with humid environments and gas intrusion. 10)System to be capable of generating, maintaining and monitoring vacuum in the range of 9mmHg to ambient (760mmHg) for each chamber independently and together. 11)System shall provide for humidification of gas entering the chambers and for monitoring of chamber humidity up to 99% humidity 12)System to allow for manipulation of gas flow at a set pressure and to vary the number of air exchanges per hour. System to be fully engineered and tested prior to delivery. Upon delivery the system will be assembled and tested at the USDA site by the contractor.
