Description
Provide facilitator services for a follow-up partnering session scheduled for April 07 (0830-1630), 2009 at the Town Place Suites, 7601 Chicago Rd (between Mound and VanDyke), Warren MI. Attachment (1) includes notes from the partnering session of 5 February 2008. Partnering session participants will include representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville and Detroit Districts, and Detroit Arsenal Department of Public Works. Partnering session attendance is not expected to exceed 50 participants. Facilitator services will include all planning and preparation, agenda preparation, session facilitation, and partnering session documentation. Partnering session format will include (but not limited to the following): - Communication guidelines and ground rules - General Partnering concepts - Understanding and managing conflict which should include issue resolution ladder - Improving Team communications - Reviewing Areas for Improvement - Reviewing Action Steps - Reviewing the Mission statement - Small group/team topic discussions - Reviewing Partnership goals - Follow-on tasks for the Partnership Facilitator will conduct pre-session interviews and provide read-ahead material which will include (but not limited to) partnering session agenda, and introduction to the partnering concept, background information on topics to be presented by the facilitator, project oriented discussion points, and advance notice to begin thinking about what the partnering session should achieve. Cost proposals will include all anticipated facilitator services, travel and lodging expenses. All travel and lodging expenses will be paid in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
