- Brand Name Letter PWS Item Listing (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation, FA2517-09-T-6050, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-30. (iv) This procurement is procured under Brand Name, full and open competition. The NAICS code is 423430 and the size standard is 100 employees. A single award will be made as a result of evaluation of quotes. As part of your quote, you are required to fill out the requirements listing as written to include line item, quantity, unit, part number, description, price and total extend price information. Include with your quote the manufacturer warranty information as well. Your quote will be considered non-responsive if the information requested is not included. (v) The following commercial items are requested. Please see attachments which consist of Brand Name letter, Performance Work Statement for NetApp Maintenance Support and Item Listing. (vi) This requirement is for Renewal of Network Appliance Products software and hardware maintenance support per the attached Performance Work Statement. The current service support period has expired as of 11 February 2009. Required service support is for a twelve month period from date of award. (vii) The renewals and maintenance support required shall be priced and delivered FOB destination to the sites listed under "Location of Support" in the Performance Work Statement (viii) The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Jun 2008). All firms must be registered in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil at time of quote submittal. DUNS, Cage Code, tax ID, terms and conditions shall be submitted with quote. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov in order to be considered for award. The Government is NOT offering contract financing for this requirement. (ix) FAR 52.212-2(a) Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999), applies to this acquisition. Award will be based on low price meeting technical specifications. (x) The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items (Jun 2008), is applicable to this acquisition. All vendors shall be registered in Online Representations and certifications (ORCA) (https://orca.bpn.gov)) at the time of Quote submittal. (xi) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Oct 2008) applies to this solicitation.
