The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Lakehurst, NJ has a requirement for overhaul of THREE Nitrogen servicing hand trucks, P/N 116AS100-1. Drawing(s) are available upon request. The Nitrogen Servicing handtruck, P/N 1166as100-1 is a mobile source of compressed nitrogen for servicing aircraft/air vehicle nitrogen systems. This unit is designed for helicopter servicing aboard air capable ships. The nitrogen servicing handtruck is composed of four major units, control panel assembly, service hose assembly, cylinder truck assembly, and booster pump assembly. The 1166AS100-1 nitrogen servicing handtruck is a two-cylinder, four-wheeled unit having a welded steel frame assembly. Unit movement is controlled by the use of a hand brake system. The unit is equipped with low pressure and high pressure nitrogen gas servicing systems. The nitrogen servicing systems are housed in the control panel assembly which in conjunction with the gas booster pump will supply nitrogen gas in pressure ranges of 0-600 and 0-3500 psi. Carts shall be disassembled. Frame and control panel will be sandblasted and repainted. All components will be overhauled and tested, all pressure gauges calibrated. Units will then be reassembled and fully tested. INSPECTION will be at Origin.
