- Description
- The Little Rock District Corps of Engineers has a requirement to construct the Little Rock AFB Education Center. The work will take place on Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville, AR. The Work includes the New Education Center Complex and incidental related work. The Project shall include, but not be limited to; Fill, Site, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Structural construction. Electrical work shall include, but not be limited to; placing of conduit and wiring. Mechanical work shall include, but not be limited to; placing of all HVAC systems, duct work, and vents. Plumbing work shall include, but not be limited to; placing all sanitary and potable water systems, and all associated equipment. Site work shall include, but not be limited to; clearing and grubbing, excavation and backfill, grading of site, and installation of drainage systems. Structural Work shall include, but not be limited to; foundation construction and building erection. All necessary equipment, permits, etc. shall be provided by the Contractor. Magnitude of construction for this project is more than $10,000,000.00. NAICS Code 236220/ $33.5 M The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal utilizing the best value process as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 and will include price and non-price evaluation factors. A firm-fixed price contract will be negotiated as a result of the solicitation. On or about 20 April 2009, the solicitation documents for this project will be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov/ under solicitation number W9127S-09-R-6006. You must be registered with the FBO website to download the solicitation documents. NO CD's OR HARD COPIES WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the ASFI website daily for any posted changes. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to this notice.
